One your application is generated, you'll be able to manage its distribution yourself. My app is already in App Store. Now my distribution certificate is expired. I know my app in App Store will continue running, but my questions are: If now I have a bug fix in my app, does it mean I am not able to submit the updated app to App Store since my distribution certificate expired? Here’s how to submit your app to the Apple App Store: Create an iOS distribution provisioning profile and distribution certificate. Create an App Store Connect record for your app. Archive and upload your app using Xcode. Configure your app’s metadata and further details in its App Store Connect record. Submit your app for review.

On your Mac, drag the certificate file onto the Keychain Access icon or double-click the certificate file. To view the contents of the certificate before you add it, click Show Certificates in the dialog, then click OK when you’re done. WSO2 API Manager’s distribution copied to the application directory. Remember that if you use a certificate for the App Store you will not be able to install your application directly on a device.

in my apple developer console, with my account I created an app (now ready for sale with its app id and its certificates).

Apple’s program for internal app distribution to track teenage customers with a ‘research’ app,” Warren and Kastrenakes report. “This poses a huge issue for Facebook.

Now I want to create another different app.

1. I make a new app id.

2. I try to create new development certificate signing request, as indicated in apple guide. But when I choose file just saved on my mac, it says 'invalid certificate'.

So I understand that I can use the same development certificate (.p12 development certificate) for many apps.

3. I try to create a new distribution certificate signing request, as indicated in apple guide. And I have the same error 'invalid certificate'.

Also this file can be the same for more apps?

The following files must be unique for the developer account and used for many apps, or I have to create them for each new app:

- developer certificate signing request

- distribution certificate signing request

and consequent

- development certificate / development certificate .p12

- distribution certificate / distribution certificate .p12

I know that push notifications certificates and mobileprovision certificates must be different for each new apps. Just change those?

If you'd like us to publish the app in your developer's accounts, in addition to access credentials we'll need your iOS distribution certificate that we'll be using for signing the app.

A .p12 file is a specially-formatted and encrypted file that contains your distribution certificate. App Store Connect checks for this file when you submit an app and will only accept the app if it contains a .p12 file that matches what you have configured in your App Store Connect account.

  • On your Mac, launch Keychain Access, select the certificate entry and right-click on it to select 'Export.'
